3. “Largest Magic Lesson” – New Guinness World Record
November 5 was a historical moment for 435 participants who joined together to create a new Guinness World Record in holding the “Largest Magic Lesson” Organised by the Hong Kong Caring Magic Circus (HKCMC) under the leadership of WAN Sze- Chung , the Chairman and founder of HKCMC. Four hundred and thirty- five people participated in the Guinness World Records challenge, all from different walks of life- including students , famous people and other professionals. All of them aimed at achieving one common goal: that of creating a new world record.
The magic lesson lasted for just over 17 minutes and 36 seconds, during which MagicWilson Wan taught participants a magic trick called “Linking Heats” – one heart
Appears magically and later becomes two heats that are linked together. This magic trick was used to symbolize love and compassion together with the ultimate aim of breaking world record.
(The former recorded Guinness Record for the largest magic lesson was achieved by David Copperfield’s Project Magic (Austria). It involved 255 participants during an event at the Vienna Recordia in Vienna (Austria) on September 27, 2009.)
